A statue of Peter in Saint Peter's square. The window behind has a balcony where the Pope often addresses crowds that fill the square below.
The backlight on the statue helps separate it from the background. Although the scene doesn't vary much in tonality, even at f/5.6 the textures and details in the concrete clearly tell the story of age and craftsmanship poured into the making of this religious site.
