Spanish Steps Trinità dei Monti
I have a document shot of the Spanish steps, but in the middle of the afternoon, the light was too harsh. Frankly, I did not put much effort into it... or maybe I was more concerned about reaching the top with 25 pounds of photo gear.
This image uses backlight to showcase the steeple at the top of the steps formally known as the Santissima Trinità dei Monti.
Sounds simple, but things get a bit confusing from here... It is a Roman Catholic Renaissance church in Italy that sits atop the Spanish Steps. The church and the nearby Villa Medici property are run by the French State.
Does that all make sense to you? There must be a nearby iHop.
